Trimming the feet
Dr. Bowker's basic advice for trimming horses' feet

When it's time for Dr. Bowker's own horses to have their feet trimmed, a regular farrier comes to do them. There is no magic super trim to fit all horses - but there are some basic rules. In this feature, Dr. Bowker talks about those rules as well as owner trimming, transition times to barefoot and the fluctuations in sole concavity and thickness which occur.
