Many horse people think that foals have to wear a headcollar and learn to lead in the first few days or weeks of their lives or all is lost. In Buddy's case, that was never going to happen, because he was abandoned in a field with his family and only met humans when he was about four months old. Luckily, he is now on a path to learning everything he needs to know in due time. Equine behaviourist Emily McDonald talks about how she works with Buddy to build the trust needed for basic handling and care.
